Safety and Hygiene
I am certified blood-borne pathogen safety and maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring that all surfaces are wiped down with hospital-grade disinfectant and all jewellery and tools are sterilised using autoclaves before and during your appointment to guarantee your safety and well-being.
Autoclaves & Sterility
At my studio, I prioritise your safety and comfort by using a combination of disposable and non-disposable tools and processes. I utilise Class B autoclaves to ensure that all equipment is thoroughly sterile, as well as sterile gloves during the piercing process, providing you with the best possible experience. Your well-being is my top priority, and I am committed to maintaining the highest standards in hygiene and safety.
Jewellery Selection
Safety and quality are my highest priority — that’s why I exclusively carry APP certified threadless and internally threaded jewellery. These designs offer a smoother insertion process, reducing tissue trauma and minimising healing complications. Unlike externally threaded jewellery, there are no exposed threads to irritate or tear the piercing channel.
Jewellery Materials
At PiercedByNic, I believe your body deserves only the best. My studio proudly uses and carries high-quality, body-safe materials that meet the highest industry and APP standards — including hand-polished ASTM F-136 implant-grade titanium, borosilicate glass, and solid 14kt & 18kt gold. Each piece is carefully selected for both safety and aesthetic excellence, ensuring every piercing heals beautifully and lasts a lifetime.
